Patients ER & Hospital in Baytown, Texas will be providing free physical examinations for high school athletes from the Goose Creek Memorial High School participating in fall sporting activities. Any student without a pre-existing health problem can get a free exam. Athletes with diagnosed health conditions should consult with their physician for a more in-depth physical.
Five local physicians from Patients ER and local clinics will administer the exams, which take about 15 minutes.
Students should bring their physical exam form with them or one will be provided at the Patients ER. Having it filled out in advance will significantly save on time. A parent of guardian will need to be present at the time of the exam.
Using the calendar below, select the date and time that is most convenient for you. Appointments are allocated in 5-minute appointment slots. Please remember that Winter-Only athletes do not need to schedule an exam at this time, as these will occur at a later date.
The exams will be given starting on July 21st and will continue for several days through July 30th. In addition to the exam, athletes and their families can tour the emergency room facility, enjoy sports drinks and snacks.
